Moving forward with this module, I decided to continue with my film. I had previously invested a lot of time, effort and energy into the pre-production of this project. To not continue with it would have felt counterproductive. Also, from a personal perspective, it represents my style as an animator and filmmaker. Depending on the success of the completion and execution, I consider entering it into festivals to promote my style, skills, interests and filmmaking capabilities. Although my feedback from my last module was positive about my pre-production for the project, I continue to progress cautiously, ensuring I consider the complications and issues one may face with producing content for the animatic.

Initially, I wanted to incorporate a showreel into my module. However, it became apparent that the workload would be too much for me to produce and cope with and ultimately, both projects would not be able to achieve their best possible outcomes. Considering this, I abandoned the showreel and focused entirely on my film, as the film is my main passion.

Upon deciding to continue with my film, I remembered that this project had various goals I wanted to achieve by the end of this course, an example being a demonstration of my animating capabilities. Moving forward, my work must be up to a certain standard. As a result, I believe I need to research further into the processes other animators use to achieve this and develop my skills.
